Research Analyst - Semiconductor Sector

Harvest Advisors holds a Capital Markets Securities (CMS) licence and is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. We provide asset management services for institutional investors as well as private wealth management solutions for high-net worth investors in Asia. Our clients include sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, listed companies, and family offices.

As part of our expansion plan, we are looking for a technically rigorous Research Analyst to cover the semiconductor sector. You will sit at the intersection of deep-tech research and investment analysis, translating complex semiconductor architecture and manufacturing innovations into actionable investment insights.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth technical research across the semiconductor and material science sectors, with a focus on AI development and supply chain dynamics
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through rigorous due diligence, including supply-chain mapping and competitive analysis
• Engage directly with company management, industry experts, and ecosystem contacts to develop proprietary research insights

Your attributes:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, microelectronics, or a related high-tech industrial sector
• Solid knowledge of microelectronics, wafer fabrication, or materials science, with the ability to translate complex deep-tech concepts into an investment context
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Materials Science, or a related STEM discipline
• Flexibility to work extended hours on an ad-hoc basis when required
