Your tasks
Anyone who buys clothes online also occasionally sends something back. At Hartevelt, large numbers of return shipments arrive every day for the fashion companies we work for. Every item is checked, sorted, and registered so that it can be sold again quickly. As a supervisor, you will lead the team that performs this work. You distribute the work, monitor quality, and ensure that returns are processed on time. You are in the middle of the team and are the point of contact for your employees and for the other departments.
Requirements
- You have experience as a team leader or supervisor in a warehouse or logistics environment
- You lead a team in terms of pace and quality, and you address people when necessary
- You have at least mbo 4 working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of logistics
- You speak and write good English
- You have experience with a warehouse management system (WMS), or you learn such a system quickly
- You remain calm when it is busy and proactively look for solutions
