Metrology Technician (M/F)

The missions:

1. Metrology Component (50% of the time):

• Instrument Fleet Management: Coordinate, plan, and perform calibration and verification operations for measurement and testing equipment (Production & Laboratory) via dedicated software.
• Methods & Standards: Define control methods for new equipment, manage reference standards, and write life cycle sheets, procedures, and control reports.
• Statistical Analysis: Perform MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) studies using statistical software (e.g., Minitab) and monitor control charts.
• Outsourcing & Training: Manage and evaluate external metrology service providers. Raise awareness and train production technicians on the correct use of measuring instruments.

1. Quality & Safety System Component (50% of the time):

• Documentation System (IATF 16949 & ISO 9001): Support various departments in updating and transitioning to the new documentation system, ensure document compliance, and eliminate obsolete versions.
• Information Security (ISO 27001 & TISAX): Participate in monitoring information security requirements and create dedicated internal communication materials.
• Audits & Versatility: Actively participate in certification audits (internal and external). Serve as a backup for QA technician missions (notably regarding product release and the processing of internal non-conformities).

The profile sought: Education & Experience: You hold a Bac+2 in a scientific field or a Bac with a minimum of 5 years of experience acquired in quality/metrology within a mass production industrial environment.

Technical skills:

Solid knowledge of metrology and mastery of ISO Quality standards (notably IATF 16949 and ideally notions of ISO 27001 / TISAX).

Mastery of statistical tools (MSA, control charts) and ideally software such as Minitab.

General IT and office automation skills.

Languages: Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking) is imperative to evolve within this international group (exchanges, documentation, audits).
