Senior Linux Systems Engineer (M/F)

We are recruiting for our client, a specialist in the hosting and operation of IT infrastructures with its own datacenter.

In a context of restructuring, the company is strengthening its infrastructure department and is looking for a Linux Systems Engineer capable of intervening in both RUN operations and evolution projects.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will join a team of 4 people; you will be responsible for the stability, performance, and security of Linux environments.

You will work on the supervision, optimization, and management of critical infrastructures, while actively contributing to continuous improvement projects.

• Ensure the maintenance of operational conditions for Linux environments
• Supervise and analyze incidents (N2/N3)
• Participate in infrastructure evolution and optimization projects
• Implement and improve monitoring and observability tools
• Contribute to the automation of recurring tasks
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in technological and security monitoring

Technical environment

• Linux (Debian, CentOS..)
• Supervision: Zabbix
• Virtualization: VMware, Proxmox
• Load balancing / Reverse proxy: HAProxy
• Web servers: Apache
• Messaging: Zimbra, Postfix, Dovecot
• Network: Cisco, VLAN, routing
• Scripting: Bash / Python
• Backup: Veeam
