Electronic Industrial Buyer (M/F)

Our consultant specializing in Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Logistics roles, Mathieu BOTCAZOU, is currently supporting an international industrial player operating in a demanding technical environment in the recruitment of its future Industrial Buyer (M/F). Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will intervene in the entire purchasing process, from needs analysis to supplier performance management, with the objective of securing supplies and optimizing costs, quality, and lead times. As a true partner to internal teams, you will manage your purchasing portfolio and actively contribute to the overall performance of the company. In this capacity, you will:

• Analyze the needs expressed by various departments and participate in defining appropriate purchasing strategies
• Conduct continuous monitoring of your supplier market to identify opportunities and sector developments
• Search for, qualify, and develop new suppliers
• Participate in drafting technical and functional specifications in collaboration with internal teams (production, quality, supply chain, sales, design office, R&D)
• Launch consultations and calls for tender with suppliers
• Analyze received offers and build the associated recommendations
• Negotiate purchasing conditions: price, quality, lead times, volumes, and contractual commitments
• Formalize and ensure the follow-up of supplier contracts
• Develop a lasting relationship with strategic partners
• Ensure the follow-up of proper contract execution and manage any disputes
• Perform risk analyses and implement appropriate security plans
• Manage supplier performance indicators and lead the associated reviews
• Ensure the budgetary follow-up of your portfolio and perform the necessary reporting
• Coordinate the various stakeholders involved in purchasing projects
• Actively participate in project meetings and continuous improvement processes
• Contribute to the overall performance of the purchasing function in a demanding industrial environment

• Minimum Bac+2 education in Purchasing, Commerce, Supply Chain, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in a purchasing role in an industrial environment
• Technical skills in electronic purchasing
• Mastery of negotiation and contracting techniques
• Good understanding of industrial and technical challenges
• Fluent professional English is essential
