Your tasks
This is an exciting opportunity for an Investment Analyst to join a growing investment team focused on software and technology businesses. Working in a lean, high-performing environment, you will gain direct exposure to live transactions, investment decision-making, portfolio companies, and M&A activity from day one.
As an Investment Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting investment activities across sourcing, analysis, execution, and portfolio management.
Responsibilities include
- Supporting the assessment and execution of investment opportunities and acquisitions
- Participating throughout the full investment lifecycle, from origination through to completion
- Conducting financial, commercial, and market analysis on potential investments
- Building and maintaining financial models to support investment decisions
- Assisting with due diligence processes and transaction execution
- Preparing investment papers, presentations, and materials for internal stakeholders
- Monitoring portfolio company performance and supporting value creation initiatives
- Assisting with quarterly reporting and investment documentation
- Working closely with senior investment professionals across multiple live projects
- Supporting strategic initiatives within portfolio businesses
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience within Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or a similar investment environment
- M&A deal experience within the investment or private equity industry is essential
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Experience analysing financial statements, company performance, and market opportunities
- Exposure to software, technology, or technology-enabled businesses
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A commercial mindset and the ability to contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English communication skills
- Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship
