ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Drone Systems Validation Technician & Remote Pilot, you are an essential pillar of our flight operations. You ensure that our fleet of autonomous drones is operational, up to date, and ready to be deployed at any time. You will be in charge of managing the validation laboratory and supporting engineers during complex field testing campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

FLEET MAINTENANCE

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the drone fleet.
• Carry out repairs, upgrades, and component replacements.
• Perform soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly operations.

FLIGHT OPERATIONS

• Pilot drones during testing campaigns.
• Act as a safety operator during test flights.

LOGISTICS

• Manage stocks of spare parts, batteries, and field equipment.
• Organize the transport and preparation of equipment for testing campaigns.

TEST EXECUTION

• Execute standardized test protocols (checklists).
• Report results and anomalies to the engineering teams.

LABORATORY MANAGEMENT

• Maintain the workshop and validation laboratory clean, organized, and secure.
• Ensure the availability of necessary tools, consumables, and equipment.

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Technical training or significant experience in electronics, mechanics, or RC modeling.
• Very good manual dexterity: soldering, wiring, mechanical assembly.
• Rigorous, organized profile with a strong awareness of safety issues.
• Experience piloting multirotor or fixed-wing drones (certification appreciated).
• Strong interest in DIY / technical tinkering.
• Minimum English level A2.
• Availability for travel for field testing.
