IT Manager / Systems Programmer (India & South Asia)

We arelooking for a highly skilled and hands-on IT Manager / Systems Development Manager to establish and lead our IT office in India. The successful candidate will beresponsible for building customized software solutions, automating businessprocesses, developing integrated systems, and driving digital transformationinitiatives across our operations.

This roler equires strong expertise in system programming, software architecture, process automation, database management,and enterprise application development .

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage the company's IT and software development office in India.
• Design, develop, and maintain customized business applications and enterprise systems.
• Automate operational, financial, HR, fleet management, and reporting processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
• Perform system programming, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Lead software development projects and manage development teams.
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party applications and platforms.
• Optimize business workflows through automation and digitalization.
• Ensure system security, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic technology planning.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, systems programming, or enterprise application development.
• Proven experience in setting up and managing software development or IT operations teams.
• Strong hands-on experience in system programming and software customization.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, C++, .NET, or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL databases, API development, cloud platforms, and system integration.
• Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, Transport Management Systems (TMS), and workflow automation.
• Experience in developing and maintaining mission-critical business applications.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Additional MandatoryRequirements

• Proven experience establishing and managing an offshore IT development centre in India.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and customizing Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL Server, API integration, and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience automating transport, fleet management, HR, payroll, finance, and operational workflows.
• Proven track record of integrating ERP, CRM, GPS tracking, telematics, and accounting systems.
• Experience building custom applications from concept to deployment without reliance on third-party vendors.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Experience leading teams of software developers, system analysts, and database administrators.
• Ability to travel frequently between India and Singapore.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience in transportation, logistics, fleet management, or mobility businesses.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Power BI, and AI-driven automation.
• Experience establishing software development teams in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Pune.
• Familiarity with Singapore business operations and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Transport, logistics, fleet management, or supply chain industries.
• Enterprise system design and architecture.
• Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, or intelligent automation projects.
• Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, or similar platforms.
• Mobile apps and web application development.

The primary objective of this role is to buildan in-house technology capability in India to automate business functions, customizesoftware solutions, integrate systems, improve operational efficiency, andsupport business growth across South Asian markets.
