Production Shift In-Charge / Lead Plant

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate production activities during assigned shifts. Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the production/lead plant. Monitor production output, equipment performance, and process parameters. Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. Lead, motivate, and manage production personnel within the assigned shift. Identify and resolve operational issues, equipment breakdowns, and production bottlenecks. Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to minimise downtime. Ensure strict compliance with plant safety procedures and operational standards. Monitor the proper use of raw materials and minimise production losses and wastage.

Requirements

B.E. / B.Tech. in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant production/plant experience. Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial production environment. Strong knowledge of production processes, plant operations, and equipment. Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead shift teams. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production targets. Willingness to work in shifts.
