Production and Plant Manager
Objective
Responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the operation, ensuring compliance with production schedules, quality standards, delivery times, and efficient use of materials, machinery, and personnel.
Main responsibilities
- Plan and follow up on the daily, weekly, and monthly production schedule.
- Supervise manufacturing, painting, packaging, and delivery processes.
- Coordinate and direct operational personnel.
- Control quality, times, costs, materials, and productivity.
- Plan requirements for raw materials and consumables.
- Reduce waste, rework, downtime, and delays.
- Ensure the operation and preventive/corrective maintenance of machinery.
- Coordinate with sales, installations, warehouse, and purchasing to guarantee complete and on-time deliveries.
Requirements
- Verifiable experience leading plants, production, or industrial operations.
- Desirable experience in metalworking, metal structures, welding, or painting.
- Experience leading operational personnel and middle management.
- Knowledge in production planning, inventories, materials, costs, and quality control.
- Proficiency in Excel and production systems or ERP.
- Practical, organized, and decisive profile with a strong presence on the plant floor.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday half day, with availability to extend hours when the operation requires it.
