Accounting Analyst for Zona 10

We are looking for an Accounting Analyst for our client in the solar energy sector, to provide analytical and strategic support in the execution of accounting processes for new Solar Energy Projects. To be the direct contact between the project team and operations, anticipating accounting and tax issues to ensure the correct financial execution of the group's companies.

Main Functions

• Execute the timely recording of accounting operations, documentary control, and recording of Accounts Payable (CXP).
• Perform the costing and accounting integration of projects, specifically determining and identifying direct and customs costs associated with import equipment (inverters, panels, structures, etc.).
• Manage and prepare monthly tax returns, fiscal books, purchase books, and VAT and ISR withholdings for four entities of the group, including the filing of zero-value returns during the initial phases of the projects.
• Maintain budget balancing and provide continuous follow-up to the project team and customs agents.
• Integrate documents, file them properly, and keep the electronic archive up to date at all times.

Requirements

• Title of Perito Contador
• Minimum 3rd year of studies in Contaduría Pública y Auditoría.
• 2 to 3 years of verifiable experience in general accounting and cost management.
• Basic English level (indispensable requirement for reading and understanding the terminology of the current accounting system).
• 100% on-site work in the office in zona 10.
• Schedule availability to handle accounting closings and peaks of operational work.
• Eventual availability to perform project visits.
• Experience in invoicing, accounting records, withholdings, and local taxes.
• Management of accounting ERPs, preferably with knowledge or experience in systems such as SAP Business One, Odoo, or Sage.
• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Focus on tax compliance and internal control.
