Happy Caring Place is seeking a detailed oriented accountant that has experience in filing taxes, payroll, book keeping, and other day to day financial records.

This will be a part-time role that will grow into full-time and permanent as the demands increase from our clients and stakeholders.

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Ability to file taxes both personal, business and corporate tax using various accounting software.
• Assist in preparing monthly, annual and financial reports.
• Monitoring and running business weekly and monthly payroll.
• Help in daily financial book keeping and data entry of the company.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and best practices for small businesses.
• Ability to prepare and manage T4's ROE's, WSIB, pension and RRSP contributions in compliance with CRA and employment standards.

*Qualifications:*

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, finance or related field.
• Payroll compliance professional (PCP) designation preferred.
• Skill and experience in Microsoft excel and other MS office application
• Strong communication and initiative skills
• Excellent attention to details, analytical thinking and organization skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Peel District)
