Site Supervisor

Your tasks

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily road construction activities, coordinate site operations, and ensure that work is carried out according to project specifications, safety requirements, and scheduled timelines.

• Supervise and monitor daily road construction activities to ensure work progresses according to approved plans and project schedules.
• Lead on-site safety efforts and ensure workers comply with workplace safety requirements and established safety procedures.
• Coordinate manpower, construction materials, equipment, and deliveries to support smooth site operations.
• Read and interpret construction drawings to ensure site works are carried out according to the required specifications.
• Inspect road levels, surface evenness, and alignment to ensure the quality and accuracy of road construction works.
• Conduct or coordinate levelling measurements and site level checks for road works.
• Monitor work progress and material deliveries to minimise delays and disruptions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to resolve operational issues.
• Identify on-site problems and implement practical solutions to maintain work quality, safety, and productivity.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have relevant construction site experience, good knowledge of road works, and practical experience in road levelling and site measurements.

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant construction site supervision experience in Singapore.
• Practical experience in road construction and road levelling (levelling measurements) is required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Good spoken English communication skills to coordinate effectively with site personnel and project teams.
• Strong site management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage construction workers effectively.
• Good understanding of site safety practices, construction quality standards, work progress monitoring, and material coordination.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to resolve on-site problems effectively.
