QC Inspector
Roles & Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a QC Inspector to support quality inspections in a warehouse and manufacturing environment, ensuring crates and finished goods meet customer specifications.
- Conduct incoming, outgoing and continuous in-process quality inspections on the warehouse floor.
- Inspect crates and finished goods against customer drawings and specifications.
- Perform dimensional, functional and other checks using measuring instruments, test equipment and inspection checklists.
- Identify and isolate defective products and promptly report defects or discrepancies to the QC Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and supporting documentation.
- Support scheduled deliveries by completing required quality checks.
- Assist with general quality assurance activities and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or relevant technical certification in Quality Control, Engineering or a related field.
- Prior quality inspection experience, or experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of quality control processes, inspection standards and testing methods.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiar with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to perform physical tasks on the warehouse floor.
- Willing to work rotating shifts and overtime when required.
