Junior Technician (Cleanroom Operations & Logistics)
Job Summary We are looking for hands-on Junior Technicians to support cleanroom operations, component cleaning and inventory activities. You will manage the movement and cleaning of high-value semiconductor parts while ensuring that all work is performed accurately and in accordance with safety, quality and contamination-control procedures. Training will be provided to suitable candidates. Key Responsibilities Receive, unpack, inspect and verify incoming semiconductor parts and components. Clean fragile quartz and mechanical components using automated washing equipment. Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow the required PPE and safety procedures. Perform visual inspections and ensure components are free from contamination or damage. Prepare, kit and issue parts and materials to the engineering or production teams. Track parts sent for external repair, servicing or return-material authorisation. Update stock movements, repairs, returns and scrapped items in the company’s ERP or inventory system. Maintain accurate inventory, cleaning and inspection records. Handle fragile and high-value components carefully within a controlled cleanroom environment. Maintain good housekeeping and comply with cleanroom, quality and safety procedures. Perform other operational or logistics duties as assigned. Requirements NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. Preferably 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, electronics or high-tech manufacturing. Experience in component cleaning, equipment operation, material handling, inventory or warehouse operations will be advantageous. Comfortable working inside a Class 10/100 cleanroom and wearing full cleanroom attire. Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals while following PPE and safety requirements. Able to handle fragile and high-value components carefully. Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, ERP or inventory systems. Able to perform hands-on duties and work independently. Candidates without direct cleanroom experience may be considered if they possess relevant technical or manufacturing experience and are willing to learn. Must be comfortable working shifts.
