Corporate Planning & Management Executive
Roles & Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Corporate Planning & Management Executive to support corporate planning, business performance reporting, governance, internal audit, risk management and overseas office coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support short- and medium-term business plans, KPI monitoring and business performance reporting.
- Prepare analytical reports, including monthly profit and loss analysis, and assist with reviewing variances between business plans and actual results.
- Coordinate Board of Directors meetings and Annual General Meetings, including schedules, agendas, proposal materials and liaison with corporate secretaries and external auditors.
- Maintain corporate records and coordinate statutory document filing through the corporate secretary.
- Support internal audits across local and overseas offices, prepare findings and recommendations, and monitor improvement actions.
- Liaise with the Japan headquarters’ Audit Division on audit schedules and submission of results.
- Support risk assessments, annual risk management plans and monitoring of risk control activities.
- Coordinate annual marine insurance renewals and liaise with insurers on terms and conditions.
- Support overseas office establishment, business licence renewals, operational improvements and management initiatives.
- Assist with drafting, filing and tracking corporate agreements, including renewal dates and document numbering.
- Maintain corporate regulations and the Regulation Master List, coordinating updates with relevant managers and the Japan headquarters.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Meticulous, analytical and detail oriented.
- Business or financial acumen, including the ability to interpret profit and loss statements, will be an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written and spoken English for preparing reports and communicating with stakeholders.
- Good time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and sound judgement.
- Good document control and records management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
