We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to develop and optimize scalable and resilient data solutions for a Data Platform (data lakehouse), solving complex problems, proposing continuous improvements in pipelines and architectures according to data engineering best practices. Responsibilities and duties

Main Responsibilities:

• Structure the construction of a data platform in AWS that meets the needs of internal clients;
• Find the best solution for optimizing the architecture of our data platform;
• Ensure observability, quality, and reliability of data for our internal and external clients;
• Automate pipeline test processes for ingestion of new sources in an automated way integrated into CI/CD;
• Execute the data platform adoption plan together with the people responsible for data governance;
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers for an integrated data flow.

Requirements and qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Solid knowledge in modern data architectures (data lake, lakehouse (delta/iceberg), analytical and event-oriented modeling;
• Have participated in at least one deployment of a data platform;
• Have experience with the implementation of data quality, observability, and governance;
• Knowledge in security, governance, and compliance applied to the data platform;
• Advanced English: writing and conversation.
