To strengthen our SCM team, we are looking for a Customs Manager / Manager Zoll / customs expert (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.
Your tasks Independent processing and handling of customs formalities in import and export
Preference calculation
Creation and checking of customs documents (e.g., import and export declarations, proof of preference)
Long-term supplier declarations
Handling of customs procedures taking into account the respective regulations
Communication and correspondence with customs authorities, freight forwarders and other external partners
Support in complying with legal regulations regarding customs, export controls and foreign trade laws
Maintenance and updating of master data in the ERP system as well as in customs systems
Support in the creation of reports and analyses to optimize customs clearance processes
Close cooperation with internal departments such as logistics, purchasing and sales
What you should bring
Successfully completed commercial training, ideally with further training in the field of customs or foreign trade
Experience in customs clearance
Good knowledge of relevant customs and foreign trade laws as well as import and export regulations
Experience in dealing with customs systems (e.g. ATLAS) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) desirable
Good English skills in speaking and writing
Structured and careful way of working as well as a high degree of personal responsibility
Teamwork skills and strong communication skills
High service orientation and flexibility in everyday work
