Chief Accountant (M/F)

Job Description:

Our client, a recognized unicorn in the tech sector located in Levallois-Perret, is looking for a Senior Group Tax Accountant on a CDI basis.

The Position:

This role combines accounting expertise, taxation, financial analysis, and digital transformation. You are the guarantor of account reliability, a pilot of innovative projects (AI, automation), and a partner to the Finance and operational teams.

Your Missions:

• Steering all end-to-end monthly closing processes for 10 accounting frameworks spread across 4 countries
• Management and monitoring of closing processes, with a focus on implementing improvements aimed at reducing delays and smoothing out bottlenecks
• Design and deployment of AI-based tools, definition of use cases, and implementation of AI agents within the Shared Services Center (SSC) in order to automate tasks and optimize accounting reconciliations
• Supervision of a senior general accounting (G/L) team and supporting teams through support and training on technical subjects and new processes
• Integration of financial operations within the framework of mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
• Management of the group's tax matters and French taxation, including transfer pricing issues
• Participation in audits by ensuring the validation of financial data within deadlines and the review of associated documentation
• Contribution to continuous improvement and automation projects to optimize accounting processes and strengthen operational efficiency

Profile Description Profile sought:

You hold a higher education degree in Accounting or Finance (DSCG, Master CCA, Grande École, or DEC in progress/obtained).

You have 8 to 10 years of experience in general accounting and/or audit, including significant experience in management or technical leadership.

You have evolved within a Big 4 firm and/or in a high-growth international environment, allowing you to have a global and structured vision of financial issues.

You master IFRS standards as well as environments subject to internal control requirements such as SOX.

Possessing a strong analytical mind, you are comfortable with data analysis and have excellent mastery of Excel tools and modern ERPs.

You speak English fluently in an international professional context.

Finally, you demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, and are capable of uniting teams while effectively managing change.

A plus if you have:

• Tech/SaaS or multi-country experience
• Knowledge of SAP, Coupa, BI tools (Looker, Tableau)
• An interest or experience in AI applied to finance

Contract and Benefits Contract: CDI

• Salary: 70K-80K (package) depending on profile
• 2 days of teleworking per week
