heavy equipment operator

Halow is seeking an experienced and reliable heavy equipment operator for projects throughout Northwestern Ontario. We are currently seeking a loader operator. This is a unionized position with pension and benefits, however non-unionized candidates are encouraged to apply.

*Responsibilities:*

• Perform daily circle check of equipment
• Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company policies
• Refuel, clean and lubricate equipment
• Communicate with surveyors and supervisors
• Other duties as required

*Qualifications:*

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment
• Must be able to travel and work out of town, accommodations and meals are provided
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and criminal background check
• Valid Canadian driver's license
