About the company
FMCG Halliday Marx have exclusively partnered with a global FMCG business to hire a Junior Finance Analyst on an interim basis for 3 months.
Your tasks
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, investigating variances and identifying key trends.
- Prepare management reports and provide meaningful financial insights to support decision-making.
- Work closely with budget holders and operational stakeholders to understand business performance.
- Assist with month-end reporting and the production of financial analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, processes and financial visibility.
- Support the wider FP&A team with ad hoc analysis and commercial projects.
Requirements
- Immediately available and able to commit to the full 3-month assignment.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial / fp&a focused role
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial data, budgets and forecasts.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
