The Role Your Mission
You are the person who turns concepts into reality. Our engineers develop the design - you build a functioning, robust plant from it. Specifically, this involves the construction of a 10 m long drilling device with a laser drilling head. In doing so, you do not just have an executing role, but actively contribute your practical experience to find solutions, improve designs, and tackle challenges directly.
Your Tasks Construction and commissioning of large-scale, experimental drilling systems Practical implementation of design plans into functioning assemblies and systems Independent planning and implementation of manufacturing and assembly processes Welding, machining, and adjusting metal constructions and components Selection and application of suitable manufacturing processes (e.g., turning, milling, welding, assembling) Identification and resolution of technical problems during construction and operation Close cooperation with engineers and the development team Continuous improvement of the construction, stability, and functionality of the plant
Your Profile Completed vocational training, e.g., as: Landmaschinenmechaniker (preferably Meister) Baumaschinenmechaniker (preferably Meister) Industriemechaniker Mechatroniker or comparable qualification Outstanding manual skills and practical implementation competence Experience in handling metalworking and welding processes Proficiency in using classic manufacturing processes Ability to understand technical drawings and implement them practically Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach Independent way of working paired with teamwork skills Motivation to take on responsibility in a dynamic startup environment English should be understood and spoken
