Your tasks

Habitat Mattresses is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join its factory team. The successful candidate will manage the storage and movement of heavy raw materials and finished products, ensuring that recorded inventory matches actual stock.

• Receive and inspect incoming materials—including foam, springs, fabrics, and chemicals—and verify them against purchase orders.
• Issue raw materials and supplies to production according to approved daily work orders.
• Organize and label warehouse inventory for easy access and efficient issuing, using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Follow safe-storage and occupational health and safety requirements, protecting flammable materials such as foam and fabric from damage or fire.
• Record all incoming and outgoing stock transactions in the company’s ERP system.
• Conduct regular weekly and monthly inventory counts.

Requirements

• Education: Relevant university degree, preferably in Commerce or an equivalent field.
• Experience: 2–5 years as a Warehouse Manager in a factory. Experience with furniture, insulation materials, or foam warehouses is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications and inventory accounting; previous ERP experience is preferred.
• Honesty, numerical accuracy, and the ability to organize large storage areas.
