Job Description

We are seeking an operationally resilient, highly analytical Regional Business Development Manager willing to undergo intensive, long-term overseas deployment. This is a high-pressure, standalone role that requires navigating complex regional retail landscapes under minimal supervision.

The successful candidate must be fully prepared to spend approximately 80% to 90% of their annual employment timeline physically stationed across multiple regional markets, primarily within Mainland China, to directly spearhead localized market growth and manage remote operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Intensive Overseas Deployment: Execute complex business development plans independently while enduring prolonged, continuous overseas stationing (80%–90% of the employment duration) across regional territories.
• On-Site Operational Liaison: Supervise localized working relationships with remote retail store managers and front-line staff across various Chinese provinces to tightly monitor daily sales volumes and compliance frameworks.
• Granular Market Intelligence: Conduct rigorous, fast-paced on-the-ground market research studies to track competitor market share and compile data-heavy analytics for executive review.
• Continuous Process Improvement: Swiftly resolve high-friction localized supply chain bottlenecks and cross-border commercial disputes under tight time constraints and minimal corporate infrastructure support.
• Bilingual Executive Reporting: Autonomously bridge operational realities in Mainland China with strategic corporate demands by executing comprehensive data reporting directly to the Director at Singapore headquarters.

Job Requirements

• Strict Bilingual Fluency (English & Mandarin): Professional-level fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is required. The candidate must be fully capable of writing strategic corporate reports in English for Singapore HQ, while simultaneously negotiating complex regulatory business matters in Mandarin with corporate partners and regional retail teams.
• Advanced China Regulatory & Framework Compliance: Proven, multi-year hands-on experience navigating Mainland China's intricate corporate regulations, local commercial laws, tax frameworks, and regional retail licensing compliance.
• Domestic Commercial Ecosystem Literacy: Comprehensive operational mastery of modern Chinese business culture, including localized B2B/B2C supply chain workflows and professional corporate WeChat platform operations.
• High Mobility Adaptation: Complete logistical flexibility and physical readiness to withstand extensive travel, immediate deployment, and long-term stationing within China under a flat localized salary package.
