We are looking for someone in the Innsbruck area to start immediately as a
Development Engineer Exterior (m/f/d)
Your tasks: you-
- develop and are responsible for complex assemblies in the field of Automotive Exterieur from the initial concept to series production readiness
- assume technical responsibility for defined components and ensure compliance with schedule, cost, and quality targets
- coordinate cooperation with internal specialist departments, development partners, and external suppliers
- create, maintain, and control technical documentation as well as development documents, taking into account standards, laws, and customer requirements
- manage the product structure in the PLM system and support the maintenance of development bills of materials
- accompany change processes and evaluate technical impacts on costs, schedules, and quality
- analyze prototype parts, pre-series parts, and series parts and, together with the specialist departments, derive improvement measures
- support maturity assurance, error analysis, and sustainable problem solving
- participate in quality methods such as FMEA, Lessons Learned, and preventive quality planning
- support technical decisions within the development process
Your profile: you-
- have a completed degree in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, plastics technology, or a comparable technical training
- bring initial professional experience in automotive product development, component development, or assembly management
- ideally have experience in the field of vehicle exterior and series development
- possess a good understanding of development processes, change management, and technical documentation
- have experience in dealing with PLM systems and common development methods
- work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner
- convince through strong communication skills and teamwork in interdisciplinary project teams
- have good English skills (at least B2)
