Gulf British Academy is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and vision-aligned EYFS Reception teachers to join our growing school in the heart of Kuwait.

Who we are looking for
We are seeking UK-qualified, proactive, and passionate EYFS Reception teachers who excel in:
Building warm, trusting relationships with young children and their families
Creating a nurturing, language-rich and playful environment
Embedding structured talk, communication and language development, and early enquiry in daily routines
Planning engaging, purposeful and developmentally appropriate learning experiences
Observing children closely and using assessment to target next steps
Supporting children to become confident communicators, empathetic friends and independent learners
Contributing positively to our inclusive, collaborative EYFS team
Applicants must be fluent English-speaking graduates holding a UK Department for Education teacher number or completing their final year of training.

Designs high-quality, play-based and language-rich learning experiences
Uses talk, story, role-play, songs and interactions to develop language, confidence and thinking
Understands the EYFS Framework, child development and effective early years pedagogy
Builds strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Creates an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued, safe and successful
Reflects on your practice and embraces professional learning
Collaborates positively within a supportive Early Years team
Communicates confidently and fluently in English
Uses technology to enhance learning, assessment and communication
Contributes enthusiastically to the wider life of the school
Holds a clean enhanced DBS/police clearance
Is able to relocate to Kuwait promptly and be ready to teach on 1 September
Essential requirements
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – PGCE, BEd or equivalent
UK bachelor’s degree in education or a curriculum subject
Successful and recent EYFS or early primary experience in a UK or BSO-accredited school
Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early child development
Ability to plan for individual needs and stages of development
Effective classroom, behaviour and routine management
Strong digital literacy (Google Workspace, shared drives, etc.)
