IT Provisioning and Operations Manager

GULF ARMENIA is looking for an experienced and motivated IT Provisioning and Operations Manager

Supervise the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure at gas stations and office spaces, including servers, networks, workstations, POS systems, video surveillance/security systems, and connectivity equipment.

Provide IT support to employees and site personnel by resolving issues related to hardware and software, network connectivity, printers, POS systems, and access rights, ensuring minimal system downtime.

Configure, maintain, and monitor MikroTik routers and firewalls, including VPN tunnels, NAT, firewall rules, routing, bandwidth management, and network access policies.

Configure, maintain, and monitor Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (FortiOS), including security policies, NAT, IPsec/SSL VPN tunnels, SD-WAN, network segmentation (separation of POS, video surveillance, office, and industrial networks), and UTM modules such as IPS, antivirus protection, web filtering, and application control.

Manage and maintain Fortinet ecosystem devices, including FortiSwitch switches, FortiAP access points, and FortiClient, as well as use FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiGate Cloud tools for centralized management, log analysis, and reporting.

Ensure lifecycle management of Fortinet devices, including planned firmware updates, timely renewal of FortiGuard licenses and subscriptions, configuration backups, and stable operation of High Availability (HA) clusters.

Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi networks, and connectivity between gas stations and the head office.

Manage data backup, file storage, and disaster recovery processes using existing storage platforms, servers, cloud services, or backup systems.

Configure and maintain Moxa industrial devices, including switches, Serial-to-Ethernet converters, gateways, and connectivity modules used for industrial and gas station equipment.

Configure and troubleshoot RS-485 / Modbus communication protocols for integration with controllers, fuel dispensers, sensors, IoT devices, and other industrial systems.

Monitor network performance, system availability, and security risks across all gas stations and the company's infrastructure.

Perform regular security audits, review firewall rules, verify backup integrity, and proactively identify vulnerabilities or operational risks.

Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux systems, and related services as needed.

Support fuel station technological systems, including POS connectivity, dispenser connectivity equipment, payment-related network devices, printers, CCTV/NVR systems, and remote management tools.

Collaborate with other departments to understand their operational technological needs and propose practical IT solutions.

Coordinate with vendors, internet service providers, software providers, and hardware suppliers to ensure stable operations and cost-effective service delivery.

Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, network diagrams, IP addressing, device configurations, passwords, protocols, and troubleshooting steps.

At least 4 years of work experience as a System Administrator, IT Specialist, or a similar position (preferably in gas stations, retail, industry, logistics, or non-IT organizations).

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.

Communication skills in English and Russian languages.

Deep knowledge of network infrastructures, routing, switching, firewall configuration, and system administration.

Hands-on experience with MikroTik routers and RouterOS, including firewall rules, VPN, routing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and traffic management.

Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and FortiOS, including security policies, NAT, IPsec/SSL VPN, VLANs, routing, UTM modules (IPS, web filtering, application control), and SD-WAN.

Experience with other Fortinet ecosystem solutions such as FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiClient, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer will be considered an advantage.

Possession of Fortinet NSE (e.g., NSE 4 or higher) or equivalent professional certification will be considered an advantage.

Experience working with Windows Server, Active Directory, domain users, group policies, file sharing, and access management.

Experience working in a Linux environment for basic administration, troubleshooting, service monitoring, and system maintenance.

Knowledge of data backup strategies, data protection, disaster recovery, and secure file storage principles.

Experience working with Moxa industrial network devices (including serial converters, industrial switches, gateways, or similar equipment).

Knowledge of RS-485 / Modbus configuration, troubleshooting, cabling, addressing, and problem-solving.

Knowledge of network security principles, firewall policies, VPN access, endpoint protection, and secure remote management.

Experience with CCTV/NVR systems, printers, POS system infrastructures, and network equipment at the station level will be considered an advantage.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize urgent issues, and ensure the maintenance of multiple gas stations.
