Specialist (m/f/d) Wiring Harness Design (Designer)

For the Vilsbiburg location, we are looking for:

Specialist (m/f/d) Wiring Harness Design

Your tasks:

• Design of components, assemblies, and wiring harnesses, taking into account manufacturing, repair, and space constraints
• Structural design of individual parts and assemblies including dimensions, tolerances, and standards using CAD
• Creation of manufacturing-ready drawings and technical documentation
• Processing and coordination of design changes as well as local contact persons
• Execution of packaging studies and 3D wiring harness designs
• Creation and maintenance of bills of materials and technical lists
• Execution of technical calculations for the dimensioning of components
• Coordination with customer specialist departments, external companies, and production plants
• Participation in packaging reviews, coordination meetings, and test setups
• Control, administration, and release of design data in customer systems
• Technical guidance, coordination, and training of employees

Your qualifications:

• Completed university or technical college degree or comparable qualification
• 2–3 years of professional experience in design / vehicle development
• Very good knowledge of vehicle construction and the product development process
• Very good CAD knowledge (especially CATIA)
• Experience with processes (iTO, SBWE) and data management systems
• Knowledge of standards, testing criteria, and safety specifications in the Automotive environment
• Proficient use of MS Office
• English skills
• Willingness to travel for business
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
• Teamwork, communication, and coordination skills
