Specialist Wiring Harness Design (m/f/d) (Process Manager - Production Technology)
For the Munich location, we are looking for:
Specialist Wiring Harness Design (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Consideration of manufacturing technology concerns, repair possibilities, and space requirements
- Design and development of components, assemblies, and complex individual parts under functional and standard specifications
- Standardization of components with comparable functions
- Creation of manufacturing-ready drawings and technical documentation
- Processing and coordination of design changes including feasibility checks
- Execution of CAD-supported investigations (shape, dimensions, tolerances)
- Creation of bills of materials and technical lists considering numbering systems
- Execution of calculations for dimensioning (strength, stiffness, masses, centers of gravity, etc.)
- Creation, modification, and checking of wiring harness 3D designs including package investigations
- Coordination with project managers, specialist departments, and external companies
- Participation in packaging rounds and coordination meetings
- Participation in testing and vehicle builds at the customer site
- Support in error analysis between the customer, Line Support, and the production plant
- Participation in topology coordination (SSP) and circuit planning (SLP)
- Ensuring compliance with the release cycle as well as creation of change documentation
- Administration and control of design data in customer systems (PRISMA, SAP, etc.)
- Technical instruction, coordination, and training of employees
Your qualifications:
- Completed university or technical college degree or comparable knowledge and skills
- 2–3 years of professional experience
- Good knowledge of vehicle construction and the product development process
- Very good CAD knowledge (CATIA)
- Good process knowledge (itO, SBWE)
- Experience with data management systems (CAD PDM, PRISMA)
- Knowledge of relevant standards, testing criteria, and safety regulations in the automotive sector
- Confident handling of MS Office
- English skills
- Willingness to travel for business purposes
