Software Application Engineer (m/f/d) (Software Developer)

For the Munich location, we are looking for:

Software Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Collaboration in the development of safety-critical Embedded-Realtime-Software for aircraft systems according to RTCA/DO-178B (Level A–D)
• Adaptation of existing test strategies to cover new application requirements
• Creation of software test case specifications based on the Software Requirements Specification (High- and Low-Level-Requirements tests)
• Development and implementation of Low-Level and High-Level software test procedures
• Ensuring traceability between test cases and software requirements
• Execution of manual and automated software verification tests in simulation environments as well as on Hardware-in-the-Loop test systems
• Creation of test reports
• Review of software test cases and test results

Your qualifications:

• Completed studies in the field of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development or software application
• Experience with High- and Low-Level software requirements
• Experience in code analysis
• Good knowledge of microprocessor architectures or In-Circuit-Debugging
• Good written and spoken English skills
• High flexibility and adaptability
• Teamwork skills
• Knowledge of the V-Modell development process, preferably for safety-critical software according to RTCA/DO-178
• Knowledge of MISRA guidelines (C)
