Simulator Software Engineer (m/f/d) (Software Developer)

For the Bremen location, we are looking for:

Simulator Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Design, development, and implementation of simulation models for satellite equipment and space environments
• Continuous improvement of the simulation framework, the user interface, as well as testing and debugging tools
• Execution of tasks along the complete software life cycle: requirements, architecture, design, implementation, test, integration, and documentation
• Coordination with customers and internal software teams for design reviews and timely delivery of simulators
• Support for customer teams during mission preparation as well as the maintenance phase of the simulators

Your qualifications:

• Degree in engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable qualification (Master or PhD an advantage)
• Experience in modern C++ programming and Python
• Familiarity with Linux environments
• Professional experience as a Software Engineer or Simulator Software Engineer desirable
• Knowledge of federated simulations and co-simulation techniques an advantage
• Experience with Embedded Software, Qt, Git, DOORS, JIRA an advantage
• Experience with ECSS-SMP tools/standards or DO-178B an advantage
• Independent, motivated way of working as well as high communication and teamwork skills
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing
