For the Munich location, we are looking for:

Senior HMI Concept Engineer (m/f/d) – Truck & Bus

Your tasks:

• Development and design of Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) concepts for trucks and buses
• Conception of control, display, and dialog systems considering ergonomics, usability, and user requirements
• Creation and maintenance of GUI concepts, design guidelines, style guides, and Golden Rules
• Specification and documentation of HMI functions using wireframes, state-charts, widget, and animation catalogs
• Accompanying development until series maturity and ensuring conceptual quality
• Collaboration with the Design, Electrical, Electronics, and Software Development departments
• Controlling and coordination of HMI specifications with external development partners and suppliers
• Moderation of interdisciplinary workshops and coordination meetings
• Application of agile development methods and project management approaches
• Use of MS Office and Visio as well as common design and prototyping tools

Your qualifications:

• Completed studies in Media Informatics, Computer Science, Interaction or Information Design, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the development of complex User Interfaces, ideally in the Automotive or commercial vehicle environment
• Sound knowledge in the areas of ergonomics, usability, and user-centered development methods
• Experience in the creation of HMI concepts, GUI specifications, and digital control concepts
• Experience with agile development methods and project management approaches is an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Visio
• Very good English skills
• Willingness to undertake international business trips
