Jr. Analyst (m/f/d) (Cyber-Security-Consultant)

For the Munster location, we are looking for:

Jr. Analyst (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Proactive analysis and interpretation of sources to detect IT phenomena and cybersecurity threats
• Evaluation of change requests without architectural influence on cybersecurity
• Support in reactive real-time analysis of correlated log data in escalation cases
• Definition and implementation of measures to defend against or prevent threats and vulnerabilities
• Monitoring the implementation of security measures
• Escalation of threats within and outside of 1GNC, e.g., to NATO/DEU or NLD organizations
• Documentation of analysis results and measures taken
• Conducting forensic investigations and in-house analyses for responsible authorities
• Support in threat analysis and creation of risk profiles
• Ensuring the operation and quality of the connection of external system content to 1GNC systems
• Maintenance and updating of processes, procedures, and work instructions
• Participation in working groups and meetings, advising the Chief Information Assurance as well as the HQ in all aspects of C2-Support, CIS, HQ/CP organization, and information security

Your qualifications:

• Experience in multinational working environments
• Experience in the Security Operation Center (SOC)
• Experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Experience in Cyber Incident Management
• Experience/training with SIEM tools: LOGPoint, Elastic, Splunk
• Experience in Incident Handling: TheHive, Microsoft SCSM, Greenbone, Trellix EPO
• Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence: MISP, Security Analytic
• English skills at level 3332
• Optional: Knowledge of communication and information networks
• Optional: Experience in IT-Consulting
• Optional: Bachelor's or university degree in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, or related fields
• Optional: Certificates EC-Council and ITIL
• Optional: Experience with MS SharePoint
• Optional: Knowledge in the development of incident-handling processes for areas with increased security requirements
