For the Kassel location, we are looking for:
Development Engineer Mechanical Integration of Optical / Optronic Systems (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Creating field of view analyses for optical and optronic systems
- Determining the positions of components according to legal and technical specifications
- Integration of optical/optronic systems (rearview mirrors, angle mirrors, camera-monitor systems) according to ECE and StVZO
- Integration and design of wiper and cleaning systems for windshields and sensors
- Construction and integration of kinematic systems for mounting sensors (1 - 50 kg)
- Coordination and determination of electrical interfaces for mechanical integration
- Creating requirement and functional specifications
- Carrying out and initiating verification and validation for the integrated components
- Creation and documentation of design documents with CAD Siemens NX
Your qualifications:
- Completed studies in the field of mechanical or plant engineering, automotive engineering, or comparable
- Initial professional experience in the above-described field of activity is desirable
- Ideally, knowledge in the management and control of external companies
- Knowledge in handling CAD and PLM programs, preferably Siemens NX
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Good English skills
- Strong technical understanding as well as creative and systems thinking
