Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) (Quality Engineer)

For the Poing location, we are looking for:

Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d)

Tasks:

• Development of embedded software solutions on Linux platforms for control components of digital printing systems
• Conception, planning, and implementation of embedded solutions (e.g., driver development, communication, control algorithms, state machines)
• Application of modern software architectures to optimize testing, maintainability, and software quality
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams as well as interface function between component development and hardware design
• Support in the introduction of new technologies up to market launch

Qualifications:

• Completed degree (Master's) in Informatik, Physics, Elektrotechnik, or comparable
• Professional experience in embedded software development
• Experience with Linux real-time operating systems, ideally in the area of driver development and fieldbus protocols
• Very good knowledge of C/C++ (from C++17), Python, as well as model-based development
• Knowledge in software testing, ideally test automation and agile methods
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Proactive and independent way of working as well as strong communication skills
• Very good English skills; German skills are an advantage
