Automation Engineer for Dynamic Crossflow Filters (m/f/d) (Designer)

For the Vierkirchen location, we are looking for:

Automation Engineer for Dynamic Crossflow Filters (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Clarification of customer requirements regarding process flow and interfaces to higher-level control systems
• Creation of functional descriptions, interface descriptions, and PLC software (including final documented software FAT)
• Independent execution of in-house FAT (test preparation, control cabinet testing, programming of drive systems, and functional testing together with the process department)
• Worldwide commissioning of machines and systems (duration of deployment typically max. 2-3 weeks per machine)
• Adaptation of the control system on-site if required (possibly also according to applicable regulations)
• Support in the further development of our control and automation solutions
• Maintenance of the internal know-how database
• Customer support via telephone and remote service

Your qualifications:

• Successful university degree in the field of automation technology or a comparable technical degree
• Very good knowledge in the programming of Siemens controls, knowledge of Allen Bradley controls is an advantage
• Knowledge in handling GMP
• Experience in handling and applying common guidelines in control cabinet construction
• Knowledge of foreign standards such as Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is an advantage
• Knowledge of handling ATEX directives as well as associated harmonized standards is an advantage
• Good English skills
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Strong customer orientation, independent way of working, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel worldwide
