Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/x) (Manager - Supply Chain Management)

For the Schierling location, we are looking for:

Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/x)

Your tasks:

• Participation and support in the risk analysis for complex components; evaluation of the feasibility analysis of components by suppliers
• Planning, implementation, and tracking of APQP processes for purchased components from component development to series release in the production plant; evaluation and approval of the PPAP/PPF of components including run@rate at the supplier
• Updating, tracking, coordination, and documentation of the APQP status of components, e.g., for project managers, project meetings, reporting, slow/fast build phases, etc., as well as escalation if necessary
• Structured root cause analysis in case of deviations, including structured problem solving and follow-up
• Compliance with product development processes (PEP) and relevant ASQE tasks

Your qualifications:

• Technician or engineer with additional qualification, e.g., Q-Manager, AIAG, VDA; Certified VDA 6.3 Auditor is appreciated
• Sound and practical knowledge in production and project management techniques and processes through professional experience
• Experience with supplier quality processes; experience in the application of Q-methods (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC, etc.…)
• Good knowledge of the standards and requirements of OE customers as well as component and tolerance requirements
• Very high English skills, communication and mediation skills; willingness to travel
