1. Job Summary

The Snr. Accounts Officer is responsible for preparing and maintaining full set of company’s account, and monitors expenditures,revenue and use of company resources to ensure businesses operate within budget, and provides monthly or quarterly reports to management on budgetary performance.

A Snr.Accounts Officer’s duties shall include processing of supplier invoices,debit/credit notes, Accounts Payable/Receivables, GST/Tax submission, bank reconciliation statement and company revenue, employees’ payroll, hire purchase and leasing installments, other monthly renewal fees, and generates financial reports in complying with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and verify ERP accounting entries to ensure accurate financial records
  • Plan, allocate, and monitor the company’s overall operational budget to control expenditures
  • Plan, allocate, and monitor project budgets to support project financial management
  • Process employee payroll (excluding workers) accurately and timely
  • Prepare and submit GST and tax filings in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare documentation and support for audit processes to ensure readiness and compliance
  • Monitor and reconcile payment and bank transactions to maintain financial accuracy
  • Prepare, consolidate, and close monthly and annual accounting statements to reflect financial status
  • Prepare annual balance sheet reports for management review
  • Maintain and update cash flow records to track liquidity and financial health
  • Prepare and submit financial records required by clients, consultants, and authorities, including license renewals, tender submissions, and award submissions
  • Consolidate cheque and cash transaction statements for accurate cash management
  • Perform bank reconciliation statements to verify bank and book balances
  • Monitor and report accounts payable and receivable status to manage cash flow
  • Monitor and manage the company’s fixed assets to ensure accurate asset tracking and valuation
  • Monitor and manage financial loans, banker’s guarantees, and other financial obligations to mitigate risks
  • Maintain and contribute to the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System (IMS) to support operational standards
  • Prepare company resolutions in compliance with the Companies Act to fulfill legal requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support company operations
