Foreign Trade Analyst – Pudahuel

We are looking for a Foreign Trade Analyst for an important company located in Pudahuel! If you have experience managing import and export operations, have an analytical view of the costs associated with operations, and are interested in being part of a dynamic environment with permanent contact with suppliers, logistics operators, and different areas of the organization, this opportunity could be for you. We are looking for an organized, analytical, autonomous, and proactive professional, capable of comprehensively managing foreign trade operations, maintaining documentary, financial, and logistical control of each process.

Main functions

• Manage and follow up on import and export processes, coordinating operations with freight forwarders.
• Maintain contact and coordination with customs agencies, shipping lines, suppliers, and logistics operators.
• Perform costing of imports and analysis of the different operations.
• Analyze logistics costs and evaluate alternatives that allow for resource optimization and the generation of efficiencies.
• Prepare and keep updated reports on the status of imports in transit.
• Perform follow-up and control of documentation associated with foreign trade operations.
• Coordinate and control payments to foreign suppliers and other suppliers associated with operations.
• Support the financial area in cash flow projection and invoice entry.
• Participate in analysis processes and accounting reconciliation for monthly closings.
• Identify possible risks in the logistics chain and generate mitigation actions.
• Keep different internal areas informed regarding the progress, deadlines, and possible contingencies of shipments.
• Propose and implement improvements that allow for increased operational efficiency and cost optimization.

What are we looking for?

• Professionals graduated in Foreign Trade Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Auditor Accountant, or careers related to the required profile.
• At least 4 years of verifiable experience in import and export processes of products.
• Verifiable experience in accounting functions within importing companies.
• Solid knowledge in imports, exports, and the international logistics chain.
• Experience in analysis of logistics and financial costs associated with imports.
• Experience participating in operational process and efficiency improvements.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and/or automation.
• Knowledge and experience using an ERP.
• Intermediate level technical English, especially for interaction and negotiation with international suppliers.
• A stable work history will be valued.
