Production Intern - Industrial/Automotive Manufacturing

The challenge of the position:
As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will join the [specify area: Production / Quality / Logistics / Continuous Improvement] team, where you will provide support in the optimization of assembly processes, time and motion studies, and continuous improvement projects under Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Your main activities will be:
- Floor support: Collaborate in time and motion studies for the balancing of motorcycle assembly lines.
- Process analysis: Support the identification of bottlenecks and waste (Mudas) in workstations.
- Technical documentation: Update visual aids, standard operating procedures (SOP), and process flowcharts.
- Quality control: Participate in 5S audit walks and the follow-up of corrective actions.
- Data analysis: Support the updating of key performance indicators (KPIs) of the area in Excel or Power BI.
Who are we looking for? (Requirements):
Education: Active student in the final semesters of an Industrial Engineering degree (it is essential that you have between 6 months and 1 year left until graduation). Insurance: Must have valid Facultative Insurance provided by your university. Technical knowledge: Basic notions of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, line balancing, and reading blueprints. Tools: Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas). Basic knowledge in AutoCAD or SolidWorks is desirable. Language: English [specify level: Basic / Intermediate for reading technical manuals]. Soft skills: Proactivity, excellent communication, attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility and safety in industrial environments.
