Responsibilities and assignments
- lead the evolution of the corporate Digital Platform, ensuring scalability, standardization, and reuse of capabilities across different business units;
- Define and evolve architectures based on Domain-Driven Design (DDD), establishing clear bounded contexts, well-defined contracts, and integration between business domains;
- Develop and consolidate a Platform Engineering strategy, promoting self-service, standardization, and increased productivity for development teams;
- Build and evolve the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), including templates, pipelines, automations, reusable components, and standardized development journeys;
- Lead the architecture and evolution of solutions based on microservices, APIs, and distributed platforms;
- Define the microfrontends strategy using Angular, React, and related technologies, allowing independent and scalable deliveries across multiple teams;
- Promote the adoption of AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC) practices, incorporating Artificial Intelligence in stages such as discovery, specification, development, testing, documentation, and deploy;
- Establish productivity, quality, and operational efficiency metrics to monitor the gains obtained from the adoption of AI in the development cycle;
- Ensure that engineering, automation, and AI practices are implemented respecting security, governance, and compliance requirements;
- Define standards for resilience, observability, availability, and scalability for critical business applications;
- Establish and monitor reliability indicators, including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and operational metrics;
- Lead observability initiatives, end-to-end monitoring, and chaos engineering for validating system resilience;
- Manage the economic efficiency of the platform, tracking operational cost metrics, cost per transaction, cost per deploy, and cloud resource utilization;
- Evaluate architectural decisions considering technical impact, developer experience, scalability, and financial efficiency;
- Lead multiple engineering squads, promoting predictability, autonomy, collaboration, and a culture of ownership;
- Act in the development and training of technical leadership, Tech Leads, and specialists;
- Conduct performance evaluation processes, career development, and technical training for teams;
- Support strategic decisions alongside the CTO and other executive leadership, translating technical themes into business impact;
- Ensure adherence to corporate technology policies, information security, LGPD, and regulations applicable to the financial sector;
- Act as the main technical reference for decisions related to architecture, software engineering, digital platforms, and technological transformation.
Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Engineering, with a consistent trajectory of technical evolution before leading teams;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading multiple engineering squads in mature agile environments, with a proven track record of predictability and delivery of results;
- Practical experience with scaled agility models, such as SAFe, LeSS, or equivalent frameworks;
- Experience in building, evolving, or operating Internal Developer Platforms, focusing on productivity, automation, and developer experience;
- Solid knowledge in Platform Engineering, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and self-service for engineering teams;
- Technical mastery of backend development with .NET;
- Experience with Angular and React for building modern and scalable front-end applications;
- Knowledge of Node.js for API and service development;
- Experience with React Native for mobile applications;
- Solid experience in architecture, operation, and governance of AWS environments;
- Knowledge of containers, serverless architectures, messaging, observability, and cloud security;
- Practical experience in applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD), including domain modeling, bounded contexts, event storming, and integration between contexts;
- Experience in defining and implementing microfrontends architectures;
- Experience with strategies for composition, versioning, and sharing of Design Systems;
- Knowledge of AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC), applying Artificial Intelligence to development activities, code review, testing, documentation, and automation;
- Track record of implementing mission-critical distributed systems based on microservices, APIs, events, and complex integrations;
- Experience in defining resilient, observable, and scalable architectures;
- Ability to lead complex technical decisions and balance business, technology, and governance requirements;
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related areas;
- Advanced English for frequent interaction with international teams, vendors, and operations.
