Responsibilities and duties

• Support the responsible educator in the planning, organization, and development of learning experiences, actively contributing to the group's pedagogical routine;
• Accompany children in their interactions, investigations, play, and care moments, promoting well-being, safety, autonomy, and participation;
• Observe children attentively, contributing with records, evidence, and reflections that support pedagogical documentation and the monitoring of their learning and development processes;
• Collaborate in the preparation, organization, and maintenance of learning environments and materials, understanding space as an essential part of the educational experience;
• Support proposals in small groups and individual experiences, respecting different rhythms, interests, needs, and forms of expression of the children;
• Actively participate in meal times, hygiene, transitions, arrival, and departure, understanding care moments as an integral part of the Early Childhood curriculum;
• Contribute to the construction of respectful, welcoming, and positive relationships between children and adults, supporting socio-emotional development and group coexistence;
• Work collaboratively with educators, specialists, coordination, and other professionals involved in monitoring the children;
• Contribute to the preparation of materials, experiences, projects, pedagogical documentation, digital and photographic records, events, exhibitions, and other pedagogical initiatives of the segment;
• Participate in the processes of planning, reflection, evaluation, pedagogical meetings, and professional development promoted by the school;
• Maintain professional, ethical, and respectful communication with children, colleagues, and families, following institutional protocols and guidelines;
• Know and follow health, safety, protection, and child well-being procedures established by the school;
• Demonstrate openness to feedback, study, and continuous training, seeking to deepen your understanding of childhood, learning, and the pedagogical approaches adopted by Escola Concept.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed or ongoing higher education in Pedagogy, Education, or a related field;
• Advanced English, with the ability for oral and written communication in a bilingual/international school environment;
• Previous experience with children in Early Childhood in a school context;
• Interest and availability to deepen knowledge about contemporary approaches to Early Childhood Education, Reggio Emilia Approach, inquiry-based learning, pedagogical documentation;
• Good communication, welcoming posture, and ability to build positive relationships with children and adults;
• Proactivity, organization, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively;
• Sensitivity to observe and respond to the individual needs of children, respecting their different rhythms and ways of learning;
• Commitment to inclusive practices, to the protection and well-being of children, and to the institutional values of Escola Concept;
• Postgraduate studies or complementary courses related to Early Childhood Education will be considered a plus.
