Location and Work Model
We operate in a remote-first model, offering total flexibility for you to work from anywhere in Brazil. For those who enjoy in-person meetings, we provide our office in São Paulo and partner coworkings. Additionally, we have the Work From Anywhere (WFA) program, which allows you to work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to 90 days a year.
About the Area and the Challenge
The Scalability team operates within the Strategy & Planning (S&P) structure, playing a crucial role in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of various processes throughout the organization. Positioned at the intersection of data engineering and business, this team is dedicated to optimizing and automating workflows, developing analytical and statistical tools, and driving continuous process improvements in a dynamic environment. The Scalability team collaborates closely with other S&P fronts and partners to implement technical improvements that support business objectives and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
Data Modeling: Apply knowledge of data modeling and statistics in multiple languages to optimize analytical processes and area routines.
Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy (zero defect checks), ensuring that extractions, cleanings, and transformations correspond exactly to business needs.
Use of Artificial Intelligence: Actively apply generative AI tools in the workflow to accelerate code writing, structure analyses, and test innovative technical solutions.
Logical Execution and Validation: Translate technical instructions and tactical needs into functional scripts, with a strong focus on logical execution, basic statistical validation, and bug resolution (debugging) in the team's routine.
Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy (zero defect checks), ensuring that extractions, cleanings, and transformations correspond exactly to business needs.
Technical-Business Translation (Communication): Act as a bridge between data and business, translating technical metrics into understandable results. Be able to explain the behavior of models, tools, and analyses to non-technical audiences and stakeholders in meetings.
Methodological Support: Collaborate with more senior members of the team, relying on them for the definition of complex hypotheses, selection of advanced methodologies, and sizing of business impact, while ensuring excellence in technical execution.
What we are looking for (Requirements)
Statistics and Modeling: Solid knowledge in data modeling and advanced statistical validations.
Programming and Automation: Solid knowledge in programming languages focused on data (e.g., Python, R) and the ability to build data pipelines and automations (BPA).
Artificial Intelligence (GenAI): Proficiency in using AI tools for productivity enhancement and problem-solving. Practical knowledge in prompt engineering and notions of the architectures underlying the models (e.g., understanding the differences and use cases of RAG vs. long context windows).
Databases: Proficiency in SQL for query development, manipulation, and data extraction.
Data Visualization: Experience with one or more BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Google Looker Studio, Microsoft Power BI).
Analytical Profile: Data-driven vision, with a focus on execution precision and the ability to work autonomously on well-defined problems.
Languages: Intermediate English.
