Location and Work Model
Our Finance team operates in a hybrid model, combining the flexibility of remote work with in-person exchange at our office in Sã Paulo, 2 times per week.
About the Area and the Challenge
The QuintoAndar Controllership team is looking for a Controllership Specialist to work with financial statements and accounting policies in a context of high technical complexity and scale.
This person will have a central role in the interpretation and application of accounting standards, assessment of impacts on financial statements, construction of technical positions, and evolution of the company's financial reporting processes.
We are looking for someone with technical depth, autonomy, and a critical vision to act as a reference in accounting themes and a strategic partner to the business.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and technical review of the company's financial statements;
Act on complex IFRS/CPC themes and accounting policies;
Evaluate the impacts of new accounting standards and regulatory changes;
Prepare and review technical memorandums and accounting positions;
Support technical discussions with external audit and internal stakeholders;
Lead the construction and review of complex disclosures and explanatory notes;
Act in the evolution of accounting policies and financial reporting governance;
Support technical themes with impact on P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and equity changes;
Contribute to the improvement of processes, controls, and scalability of the area;
Develop and support the team's analysts technically.
What we are looking for
Requirements
Degree in Accounting;
Background in Big Four (especially accounting audit/consulting);
Solid experience in financial reporting, accounting policies, or audit;
Strong technical knowledge in IFRS/CPC;
Experience with the analysis of impacts of accounting standards;
Experience with complex financial statements;
Advanced/fluent English (documentation and technical materials in English);
Advanced Excel.
