Your role at Medinfar
As a Finished Goods Planning Technician, you will belong to the integrated planning area within the Supply Chain structure and play an essential role in the management and planning of finished goods according to stock levels and supply needs. You will be a critical link between different areas, contributing to operational efficiency and resource optimization.
How will you make a difference?
- Plan and schedule finished goods production according to stock levels and supply needs.
- Monitor and optimize, together with factory planning, the finished goods factory production plan.
- Ensure compliance with Lead Times (LT) of productions and monitor OTIF (On Time In Full) performance.
- Schedule and coordinate productions carried out at external suppliers.
- Update safety stocks of finished goods.
- Monitor and analyze stockout KPIs, proposing improvement actions.
- Collaborate with the Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Quality areas to ensure product availability.
- Identify supply risks and implement preventive measures to minimize impacts on the operation.
What are we looking for?
- Higher education in Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a similar field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finished goods planning, materials, and stock management
- Previous experience in planning systems, forecast elaboration, and following up on orders to suppliers
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, aeronautical, and automotive industries is valued
- Knowledge of ERP and planning systems (MRP/MPS), with JD Edwards being an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Critical and analytical capacity, organization, and proactivity
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in English
