International Kitchen Chef - Paid Internship

About the company

Cultural Exchange Agency is looking for Chilean chefs and Gastronomy graduates, with or without experience, interested in undertaking a 12-month paid internship in high-level hotels and resorts in the United States. An opportunity to acquire international experience, learn new gastronomic techniques, strengthen your English, and create a professional network, while experiencing a cultural exchange and earning money.

Your tasks

The entire process is accompanied: application and placement in a host company, visa processing, medical insurance, accommodation management, guidance to obtain the Social Security Number, and completion of necessary paperwork.

Requirements

We are looking for applicants with training in Gastronomy, motivation for professional development, and availability to reside in the United States for one year. Participation is subject to evaluation, acceptance by the host company, and visa approval. There are departures throughout the year. This program is for individual participation and does not include companions (partner or family).

What we offer

Approximate hourly wage: USD 15-20 per hour, 32-40 working hours per week, with the possibility of working overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Other

This program has a cost for the participant, with payment facilities: an initial deposit before the trip and the remainder in installments during the stay in the United States. Values, conditions, and the payment schedule are provided before formalizing the registration.
