Data Science Specialist - Camacho Headquarters

At Universidad Científica del Sur, which is part of Grupo Educa_d, we are currently looking for the best talent to fill the position of Data Science Specialist, whose mission is to design, develop, and implement statistical and predictive models and artificial intelligence solutions applied to the educational business, in accordance with the scientific method, technical standards, and the best practices of Machine Learning and MLOps, to generate actionable insights and data products that contribute to strategic decision-making and value generation for the group.

Functions:

• Develop, validate, and document statistical, predictive, and Machine Learning models, according to supervised/unsupervised learning methodologies and technical standards, to generate analytical solutions applicable to the business.
• Design and implement Machine Learning architectures and pipelines, under MLOps practices and standards, ensuring automation, traceability, and correct execution of the model lifecycle.
• Design, develop, validate, and implement Machine Learning models and advanced analytics solutions, applying development and MLOps best practices.
• Manage the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of models and analytical products in production, according to success metrics and performance standards.
• Manage the deployment and monitoring of models in production environments, ensuring their stability, traceability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop solutions based on generative Artificial Intelligence, according to business needs and opportunities, driving innovation and value generation.
• Other functions that THE EMPLOYER may assign you based on their needs.
• Comply with the internal occupational health and safety regulations, internal labor regulations, code of ethics, quality management system, and current institutional regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, systems engineering, informatics, and/or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing the same and/or similar functions.
• Specialization in Phyton, Azure databricks, and SQL (indispensable)
• Intermediate level English.
