Production and Supply Manager Cajicá

Do you have experience connecting planning, supply, and production within an industrial plant?

We have a challenge for you! We are looking for a professional to lead production planning and supply, ensuring that the plant has the necessary materials, components, and resources to produce timely, in line with demand and business needs.

You will be responsible for converting demand requirements into a viable production plan, coordinating with the different areas of the plant on what to produce, when to produce it, and which materials and components must be available.

What will be your challenge?

• Lead short and medium-term production planning and supply.
• Convert demand requirements into production plans for the plant.
• Coordinate sequencing, quantities, and production dates with the production areas.
• Plan the supply of raw materials and components, ensuring their availability at the required time.
• Control inventory levels to guarantee availability and avoid overstock.
• Align plant capacity with demand requirements.
• Identify and manage risks that may affect compliance with the production plan.
• Ensure compliance with the PRRO and communicate deviations or restrictions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Production, Supply, Demand Management, and other involved areas.
• Validate availability dates for new businesses (NAP).
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
• Analyze information and data to facilitate operational decision-making.

What are we looking for?

• Professional in Industrial Engineering, Production, Administration, or related careers.
• Experience in production planning and supply within plants or industrial environments.
• Experience integrating production + supply. Experience solely in demand planning will not be sufficient.
• Knowledge in MPS, production planning, supply, inventories, and capacity management.
• Experience working with SAP. Desirable knowledge in APO/PPDS.
• High capacity for data analysis and information interpretation for decision-making.
• Experience leading teams, ideally at coordination or management levels.
