Industrial Quality Methods Manager M/F
DESCRIPTION
Our partner, a key player in the medical industry, is recruiting a Quality Control Methods Manager (M/F) to strengthen its Quality Control department.
You will join an innovative company operating in a demanding industrial environment, where quality, product compliance, and continuous improvement are major challenges.
Reporting to the Quality Control department, you will lead the control methods and guarantee the reliability of the associated processes. As a true technical expert, you will supervise activities related to control methods, support teams in their skill development, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
You will work in close collaboration with the Bureau d'Études, Project Managers, Production, Customer Support, and Quality Control teams, in order to guarantee the performance and compliance of the control methods.
Your missions
Supervise the Control Methods team
- Supervise the training of controllers in various control methods.
- Supervise the Metrology Technician and ensure the monitoring of control and measurement equipment.
- Evaluate and anticipate needs for measuring devices.
- Support teams in the development of their technical skills.
- Ensure the correct application of control methods and procedures.
Define control methods and ranges
- Define control ranges for new products and evolutions of existing products.
- Determine control times and contribute to process optimization.
- Identify areas for improvement to optimize the quality, reliability, and efficiency of controls.
- Ensure technological monitoring of control methods, equipment, and solutions.
- Guarantee the consistency and relevance of the implemented methods.
Deploy standards and control methods
- Ensure regulatory and normative monitoring, particularly regarding ISO 14644, ISO 10648 standards and other applicable frameworks.
- Define and implement new control methods based on regulatory and technical evolutions and new products.
- Adapt normative requirements to products and internal processes.
- Write, update, and evolve operating modes, procedures, and control forms.
- Train Customer Support technicians and production teams in control and self-control methods.
- Be responsible for the training and skill development of controllers.
- Support Project Managers and the Bureau d'Études in defining controls and applying customer requirements.
- Act as the technical expert for activimètre controls.
Manage metrology
- Evaluate needs for measuring devices and participate in investment decisions.
- Organize and monitor the planning of calibration operations to guarantee the availability and compliance of control equipment.
- Ensure the reliability and traceability of measurement means.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the control equipment fleet.
EXPECTED PROFILE
The sought profile
Holding a Bac +5, you are ideally a graduate of an engineering school with a specialization primarily in mechanics, welding, or electronics.
You possess a solid quality culture and wish to evolve in a demanding, technical industrial environment strongly oriented towards continuous improvement.
You specifically master:
- ISO 14644 and ISO 10648 standards.
- Control methods and quality requirements applicable to an industrial environment.
- Pack Office tools, notably Excel (macros) and Word (template creation).
- Professional English, both written and spoken.
