Your tasks

WHAT WE OFFER YOU Within the Bussy-Saint-Georges agency, you will manage customs operations and the international movement of goods (import/export, transit, consignment, temporary admission), in compliance with regulations. You will guarantee the accuracy of customs declarations and ensure the quality, costs, deadlines, and security of operations.

In this context, your missions consist of

• Providing customs consultancy to respond to new client requests / acquire new clients.
• Ensuring regulatory monitoring of taxation and costs related to customs clearance.
• Collecting goods shipping documents and assembling the service file (transit, customs, etc.)
• Establishing customs formalities in accordance with current regulations and the client's request (goods) as quickly as possible.
• Preparing, monitoring, or controlling invoicing and clearing transit or customs operation files subject to material accounting or settlement (supplier payments, customs taxes, Intrastat declarations...), verifying declarations, liquidation, and the existence of mandatory documentation for customs clearance.
• Managing disputes to avoid / minimize extra costs and fines for the client and the company.
• Participating in customs inspections with the administration and managing relations with the Customs Administration and other administrations.
• Filing and archiving customs files, including all paper and electronic documentation attached to the customs files.
• Participating in the company's environmental approach by applying current environmental procedures, adopting good practices regarding the reduction of paper, energy, and resource consumption, and reporting any situation likely to generate an environmental impact.

Requirements

Technical skills

• Higher education such as Bac +2/3 specialization in customs
• Knowledge of customs regulations and international transit techniques
• Professional English
• Proficiency in office and communication tools
